The bridge that bonds us.

To the millions handful of Ninth North fans out there, I do apologize for the lack of news over the past several months. There is truly no excuse. Things have been very busy, very hectic, but I assure you: There will be updates aplenty. Soon.

For now, I'd like to tell you about a bridge that needs some help, and it happens to exist right here in Tampa Bay. It's the Friendship Trail Bridge, and it's scheduled for demolition in a matter of weeks. For nearly a decade, the bridge was used as a recreational pedestrian and bicycling trail open to all residents (and tourists, for that matter). While the bridge could use some TLC, studies indicate that it's likely strong enough to remain intact without major restoration until 2029.
